Pennsylvania has a statewide, minimum building standard law for all construction, remodeling, additions, alterations and repairs? The Uniform Construction Code requires all new homes and remodeling work to be completed to the 2003 International Residential Code and provides for third-party inspections. It protects you from poor construction methods and provides you with assurances that your home will be built or remodeled to scientifically-tested standards.
